ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest original exhibition, Canadian Modern. The exhibition celebrates Canada's vibrant and unique contribution to modern design and craft, showcasing innovative pieces that have made a lasting impact on the world stage.

Visitors to the exhibition will be treated to a visual feast, as they explore the creativity and ingenuity of Canadian designers and craftspeople. From furniture to ceramics, lighting to textiles, the exhibition highlights the diversity of talent that has emerged from Canada's modern design scene.

One standout feature of the exhibition is the inclusion of two pieces from renowned designer Karim Rashid. The OH CHAIR and the GARBINO TRASH CAN, both designed for the Canadian company Umbra, are now on display at ROM. Rashid's bold and playful designs are a perfect fit for the Canadian Modern exhibition, and visitors will delight in seeing these iconic pieces up close.
