Based in Toronto, Canada, Umbra (Latin for “shade”), has become a global leader in product design and currently distributes in over 120 countries across the world with offices in Europe, Canada, the United States, Brazil, and China.
Umbra was born out of passion for original design and the desire to create products for every home. As a global consumer products company, we are committed to making continuous efforts to improve - such as reducing and replacing packaging, adding sustainable materials and replacing noxious finishes. Our long-term success depends on the well-being of this earth and we will not stop in our efforts to make it a better place for all of us, including our customers, to live in.
UMBRA is committed to digital accessibility, and to conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level A and AA and complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) effective communication requirements, and other applicable regulations.
To accomplish this, we have worked with Accessibility Partners who have helped us identify improvements and more accessible options and solutions for our on-site experience.
We continue to implement a variety of site developments and changes that strive towards a more accessible website for our consumers, complying with the AODA.
