1. Measure the width of your window, including frame, from edge to edge.

2. Add 8" (20 cm) to your window width measurement.

For Best Results: Account for up to 8" (20 cm) of additional space for finial and wall clearance.

TWILIGHT SINGLE ROD SET 28-48" (71-122 cm)

  1. Using a mounting plate as a guide, locate desired position and mark on wall for mounting screws.
    Place mounting plate 4″ (10 cm) wider than your window frame and halfway between window frame and ceiling for best results.
    * Ensure the narrow side of the mounting plate is against the wall when installing.
  2. Drill pilot holes into wall with 1/4″ drill bit.
  3. Insert wall anchors (wall anchors may not be necessary for all applications).
    Attach mounting plate to wall using screws provided.
    * Ensure the narrow side of the mounting plate is against the wall when installing.
  4. Slide brackets onto mounting plates.
  5. Screw left end of rod into left bracket.
  6. Feed curtain panel onto curtain rod.
  7. Screw right end of rod into right bracket.
  8. Wrap and tuck panel around both ends of the brackets so that the panel hangs flush with wall.

ZEN ROD

1" SINGLE ROD SET 32-128" (81-325 cm)

  1. Measure window to determine the number of Zen curtain rod segments needed.
  2. For shortest rod length: insert joint (E) into one of the end rod segments (G) and gently tap into place.
    Connect the other end rod (G) and cover with protective cap (F).
    Gently tap with mallet until rod segments are snug.
  3. For longer rod lengths: insert joint (E) into one of the end rod segments (G) and gently tap into place, add additional joints (E) and middle rod segments (H) and tap snug.
    Connect the other end rod (G) and cover with protective cap (F).
    Gently tap with mallet until rod segments are snug.
  4. Dispose of cap cover and any unused rod segments.
    Screw finials on rod and secure in place.
  5. Using brackets as guide, locate desired mounting position and mark on wall.
    For best results place brackets 4" (10 cm) wider than your window frame and halfway between window frame and ceiling.
  6. Drill pilot holes into wall with 1/4" drill bit and sink anchors, if necessary.
    Align brackets and screw in place to secure.
  7. Feed curtain panel onto curtain rod.
  8. Loosen set screw on bracket then insert rod in bracket and tighten set screw to secure rod in place.
    Each rod can hold up to 22 lbs (10 kg).

Are the finials removable?

Yes, our finials are removable, simply screw them off or on.

Can I use my own finials?

No, our curtain rods were designed specifically to be compatible with the included finials

Can I use the curtain rod outside?

No, we do not recommend to use your curtain rod outdoors

Can the bracket be mounted to the ceiling or only the wall?

The included curtain rod brackets can be mounted to the wall only. Please see our Ceiling Mounted Bracket if you prefer to hang them from your ceiling.

What is the weight capacity of the rod?

All of our curtain rods hold light-medium curtains; approximately 22lbs (10 kg).

How do I choose the right size curtain rod?

What tools do I need to hang my curtain rod?

We recommend to install your curtain rod 4" (10 cm) above the window frame - or halfway between the ceiling and window frame.
