SUSTAINABILITY

BEGINS

WITH GREAT

DESIGN

DESIGNED TO LAST

As a design driven company we understand that a committment to sustainability begins with our products. Ensuring that our designs express our distinctive character and consistently meet high standards of quality means that customers can continue to use and enjoy our products long-term. Well-made products are not destined for a landfill and nothing makes us happier than visiting homes and offices where customers have enjoyed our designs for years, if not decades.

OUR PLEDGE FOR THE CHANGING ENVIRONMENT

The biggest threat and challenge to our world is the changing environment. As a global consumer products company, we are committed to making continuous efforts to reduce waste, improve materials sourcing and cleanup manufacturing processes. As part of this commitment we’ve launched the Design for the PlanetTM program.

Made with
Recycled Plastic

More than half of our plastic products will be made from 80% recycled material.

Renewable
Wood Source

100% of the wood
used in our products will be harvested from renewable sources.

Eco Friendly
Finish

Our new eco friendly finishes for curtain rods produce 85% less solid and water waste.

Less
Packaging Waste

We are eliminating Styrofoam and plastics from more than 80% of packaging.

PACKAGING

In order to continue our efforts in protecting the environment and minimizing our impact, we’re on a mission to reduce the amount of waste that is created by our packaging. In 2022 we introduced new packaging that eliminated single use-plastic and excessive packaging and transitioned from bleached paper to natural Kraft corrugate. This means eliminating and replacing Styrofoam and EPE (Enhanced Polyethylene foam) with paper cardboard inserts and converted bubble wrap to tissue paper.

SINCE 2020 WE HAVE ELIMINATED

We recognize that there is still a lot of work to be done when it comes to implementing sustainable business practices. Our long-term success depends on the well-being of this earth and we will not stop in our efforts to make it a better place for all of us, including our customers, to live in. We thank you for your continued support and will to join us on this mission.
